On the 31st January, the transnational partners for the ENHANCE project were able to kick-off the project with our first meeting in Larnaka, Cyprus. Joined by the EU OFFICER Arantza Uriarte Iraola, our partners from Cyprus, Italy, North Macedonia, Jordan, Morocco, and Egypt were able to finalize the project plan and timeline, and to begin planning our next steps. This marks a strong first step for the ENHANCE project to address gender inequality and discrimination across the MENA region. The meeting ended with a social gathering and drinks, and our partners were able to spend some time sightseeing and exploring the beautiful culture of Cyprus!
What’s next?
During this meeting, we launched our website where you can go to see project updates. We look forward to our future meetings with our partners this year and next! These include training on project management in Torino in May, training on Restorative Justice and Community Cohesion in Morocco in October, and our next in person transnational project meetings in Skopje, Macedonia and in Cairo, Egypt in 2026.
